
DIDOT TYPE SPECIMEN POSTERS
I chose Didot to illustrate in my Type Specimen poster because of its elegance. I infused it with a modern twist using a vibrant color palette. This poster seamlessly blends classic charm and contemporary style.
ALAN FLETCHER MAGIZINE LAYOUT
For this Project I was assigned to create a 4 page magazine layout design of a graphic design artist. I chose Alan Fletcher because I found his art style to be very unique as well as relating to some of his art pieces. This project consisted of typography with the use of hierarchy, body copy, and other visual elements like illustrations and color. I used Adobe Illustrator to create illustrations, then combinded those with the photos on Photoshop. After that I used Adobe Indesign for the typography and grid.
SIX WORD MEMIOR
For this assignment I was instructed to create a purely typographic, visually engaging six-word memoir in print form, placing emphasis on meaning and content through visual expression, interpretation, and communication.
MAGIZINE LAYOUT PROJECT
In the magazine layout project, I perfected my skills in alignment and grid systems to ensure a visually cohesive design. I also captured high-quality photos to complement the clean and polished aesthetic of the layout. For this project I used Adobe Photoshop to create the contrasted images and also used Indesign for alignment.
CPL STRATEGIC PLAN LAYOUT
For this assignment I was instructed to create a one-page strategic plan document for the Cleveland Public Library Foundation. Additionally, using typographic hierarchy and a grid-based layout. As well as using a careful balance of variables and explorations in size, weight, and use of space takes practice and an attentive eye.
TYPOGRAPHY & INSTAGRAM
For this assignment I wanted to create a heartfelt Instagram series that blends typography with mental health awareness. It’s designed to resonate with anyone, regardless of age or gender, who might be grappling with mental health challenges. Through carefully chosen fonts and compelling words, each post aims to uplift, inspire, and bring awareness to the importance of mental well-being. This series of posts were made with the use of Adobe Illustrator.
HARRY STYLES TYPE PORTRAIT
For the typography exercise I was assigned I wanted to capture the essence of Harry Styles, this portrait is a symphony of typography and color. Fonts and colors echo his bold, electric vibes, with lyrics and titles shaping his unique style. I used Illustrator for this project.
